Evergreen Spine and Pain doctors help people relieve their chronic pain, so they have a better quality of life. We focus on the diagnosis and management of chronic pain often using leading edge technology and pioneering minimally invasive methods that can alleviate chronic pain without surgery. We treat all types of chronic pain including back pain, hip pain, leg pain, headaches and neck pain, pain caused by failed surgeries, pain resulting from injuries and pain caused from motor vehicle accidents.
Treatment options are individualized and may include joint injections, percutaneous disc decompression, nerve blocks, Botox injections, PRP or Stem Cell injections, Radiofrequency Ablation, and Spinal Cord Stimulators

Dr. Carl Wang

Dr. Carl Wang is an acclaimed, double board-certified interventional pain physician and anesthesiologist. Dr. Wang understands that pain medicine is at the forefront of improving vitality and returning patients to their lives in less pain and in better health as quickly as possible.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING
​
After earning his medical degree from the prestigious Cornell Medical College in New York, NY, Dr. Wang went on to complete both his anesthesiology residency and interventional pain management fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles.

SKILLS AND SPECIALTIES
​
Dr. Wang is nationally recognized for his research with spine and joint disease and the pain they cause. He is experienced in interventional pain management and has a special interest in spinal cord stimulation, regenerative medicine, kyphoplasty, and sonography that are at the cutting-edge of spine and joint medicine. As a strong believer in restoring patients to their good health, Dr. Wang treats each individual as if he were treating his own loved ones.

Dr. Pooja Chopra
Pooja Chopra, MD, is a dual board-certified Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Pain Management physician.

Dr. Chopra earned a combined BA/MD degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She completed her medical residency in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Kentucky. She completed her fellowship in Pain Medicine at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX.

The leadership team at Evergreen Spine and Pain Centers supports our clinical staff to ensure our patients receive the highest quality of pain management care.

Jason Yong, MD, MBA is a practicing Anesthesiologist and Interventional Pain Medicine Physician. He serves as the Division Chief of Pain Medicine and the Medical Director of the Pain Management Center at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, a major academic center for Harvard Medical School where he an Assistant Professor. His research interests revolve around education of residents and fellows, responsible opioid practices, regenerative medicine, and neuromodulation.

Nurse nurse practitioner Sarah Dejesus has over 10 years of experience. She graduated from UC Irvine. She loves taking striving for excellent patient care. She has extensive experience in managing and treating patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.

Nurse nurse practitioner Joanne Kim has over 5 years of experience. Her experience includes being a nurse at Loma Linda Hospital and UC Irvine. She believes that she should care for her patients with altruism, compassion, and integrity.
